OrthoCannon is an educational application designed to provide orthopedic learning tools, case-based educational content, AI-assisted educational features, and related resources. OrthoCannon is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

By using the Services, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

A. Account and Profile Information

We do not store full payment card information.

  • Usage behavior inside the app

E. Uploaded Images

Uploaded X-rays and files are stored in Firebase Storage to support app functionality and educational use.

  • Process subscriptions and access control

  • Store and retrieve uploaded X-rays

  • Operate AI-powered features

  • Improve performance and user experience

  • Provide customer support

3. AI and OpenAI Processing

OrthoCannon uses AI services, including OpenAI, to support educational features.

When you use AI features:

  • Your inputs may be sent to OpenAI for processing

  • Content may be used to generate educational outputs

  • Outputs may be inaccurate and are not medical advice

All AI features are for educational purposes only.

Do not submit patient-identifiable or protected health information unless explicitly authorized.

 

4. How We Share Information

We may share information with:

A. Service Providers

  • Firebase (authentication, storage, analytics, infrastructure)

  • RevenueCat (subscription management)

  • OpenAI (AI processing)

  • Other technical vendors supporting app operation

B. Legal Requirements

We may disclose information when required by law or to:

  • Comply with legal requests

  • Protect users and the public

  • Prevent fraud or abuse

C. Business Transfers

Uploaded X-rays remain stored until deleted by the user or removed through a deletion request.

  • Request deletion of your account and data

  • Stop using the app at any time

  • Uninstall the app

We will delete or de-identify data unless retention is required for legal, security, or operational reasons.

OrthoCannon is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

 

10. International Users

Your information may be processed in the United States where our infrastructure and service providers operate.

 

11. Third-Party Services

We use third-party services including:

  • Firebase / Google

  • RevenueCat

  • OpenAI

  • Apple

  • Google Play Services

Each has its own privacy policy.

 

12. No Push Notifications

OrthoCannon does not currently use push notifications.

 

13. Medical Disclaimer

OrthoCannon is an educational tool and does not collect or require patient-identifiable clinical data. Users are responsible for ensuring uploaded content does not violate privacy laws or institutional policies.

OrthoCannon LLC, its founders, developers, contributors, and affiliates expressly disclaim any responsibility or liability for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use or misuse of the platform or its educational materials.

By accessing and using OrthoCannon, users acknowledge and agree that:
